Further award in recognition of FELUWA quality

On 19 September 2018 FELUWA received a significant award from East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) located in Shanghai, China. ECUST is one of China’s most famous universities. Together with Yankuang Group, the department of Professor Yu Guangsuo has developed the so-called Opposed Multi-Burner (OMB) technology – a four-burner system which is nowadays mostly applied in coal gasification processes.

FELUWA has been supplying tailored pumps for these systems for many years. The “Excellent Supplier Certificate” was awarded to FELUWA in recognition of the continuous enhancement of our pumping technology in coordination with the plant operators and in cooperation with the ECUST university. Availability and profitability of the coal gasification plants have been increased thanks to the advantages of FELUWA technology.

FELUWA’s partner and representative, Mr. Michael Dong (Encore Engineering Equipment), and FELUWA’s advisor, Mr. Heinz M. Nägel, received the award on the occasion of the 6th International OMB Conference in Hefei, China, in front of 300 participants. Professor Yu Guangsuo had invited Mr. Nägel as guest speaker to report on his experiences in the field of gasifier feeding pumps.
